New energy charging pile for electricity concept ushered in a strong rebound
The China Charging Alliance released the operation status of the national electric vehicle charging and replacement infrastructure in April 2023. In April 2023, there were 67,000 more public charging piles than in March, with a year-on-year increase of 52% in April. By April 2023, a total of 2.025 million public charging piles have been reported by member units of the Alliance, among which 855,000 DC charging piles and 1.169 million AC charging piles. Since the beginning of this year, from the central to local governments are increasing efforts to support new energy vehicles to rural areas, at the same time, charging facilities investment layout is very hot.
According to the Securities Department, the incremental scale of domestic charging piles may reach 94.4 billion yuan in 2025, with a CAGR of 68.6% in 3 years. In 2025, the market scale of public charging piles in Europe and the United States is expected to reach 35/17.7 billion yuan, with CAGR reaching 91.3%/106.3% respectively, showing greater potential for development.
